Connect the Meta Pixel and Conversions API

The short answer
Go to Dashboard, Integrations. In the Meta Pixel / CAPI section, select + Add Meta Integration, enter your Pixel ID and Access Token, then select Save Integration. VLVTN sends test events automatically. After that, assign the connected pixel to each smart link from its Settings tab. This requires a Pro plan.

Connect the Meta pixel

The Meta Pixel / CAPI section requires a Pro plan. On a non-Pro plan you see a Pro badge and a gated message instead of the add form.
  1. Open Integrations
    Go to Dashboard, Integrations. The page heading is Integrations. Find the section headed Meta Pixel / CAPI.
  2. Select Add Meta Integration
    Select Add Meta Integration to open the form.
  3. Enter your details
    Fill in Pixel ID and Access Token, which are both required. Name, for example Main Pixel, and Test Event Code are optional. The Access Token is a password field.
  4. Save Integration
    Select Save Integration. VLVTN auto-sends test events on create.
  5. Confirm the connection
    On the connected integration, use Send Test Events to send two events named VLVTNClick and Lead to Meta. Confirm them in your Meta events tools.

Edit or delete an integration

Each connected integration has Edit and Delete buttons next to Send Test Events. Use Edit to update the Pixel ID, Access Token, or other fields, and Delete to remove the integration.

After connecting

Connecting a pixel here makes it available account-wide. It does not choose a pixel for every link automatically. Open a smart link in the editor, choose the Settings tab, and pick the connected pixel in the Meta Pixel section. The dropdown includes None and each connected pixel by its name or Pixel ID.

Know what the test confirms

The automatic test on create and the Send Test Events action send two fixed event names: VLVTNClick and Lead. VLVTNClick is the DSP button click-out. Lead is an email signup captured by a smart link. Use the event that matches the campaign question when you check Meta.

A test confirms event delivery. VLVTNClick is a tracked click-out to a destination, not proof of a stream, play, save, or follow.

No. Once the integration is connected, the client-side Pixel and the server-side Conversions API are both active. There is no CAPI-only toggle and no separate enable step.

Can I edit or remove an integration later?

Yes. Each connected integration has Edit and Delete buttons, alongside Send Test Events.

Does connecting an integration turn tracking on for every smart link?

No. The account integration makes the pixel available to your links. Open each smart link in the editor, choose Settings, and select the connected pixel in the Meta Pixel section. None means that link has no pixel assigned.
