Turn On Tracking for a Smart Link
Updated 2026-06-14
The short answer
Open the smart link in the editor and go to the Settings tab. In the Meta Pixel section, pick the pixel you want this link to fire from the dropdown. None means the link fires no pixel. This requires a Pro plan and a connected Meta integration.

Frequently asked
Where is the per-link pixel setting?
In the editor, on the Settings tab, in the Meta Pixel section. It is a dropdown listing None and each connected pixel by its name, or Pixel followed by its id.
Why is the dropdown showing only None and disabled?
That is the non-Pro state. The Meta Pixel section shows None with a Pro badge and is disabled until you are on a Pro plan.
Do I need to connect a pixel first?
Yes. Connect a Meta integration under Dashboard, Integrations first. Connected pixels then appear in the per-link dropdown by name or as Pixel followed by the id.
What event does the link send?
The conversion event is the click-out from your smart link to a streaming service. It is a recorded click to a destination, not a guaranteed stream, play, or save.
