Getting Started with VLVTN Smart Links

The short answer
A VLVTN smart link is one shareable page that lists your release on every streaming service and tracks the click-out to each one. You create it in the dashboard, customize the destinations and artwork, publish it, and then watch the clicks come in.

From sign-up to your first link

  1. Create a smart link
    Select Create Link in the dashboard, pick a link type, add your title and slug, then choose Create & Edit.
  2. Customize it
    In the editor, set your destinations on the Links tab and your artwork and theme on the Design tab.
  3. Publish and share
    Switch the toggle on the Settings tab from Draft to Published, then share your vlvtn.link address.
  4. See who is clicking
    Open the Stats tab to see Page Views, DSP Clicks, and your top platforms.

Frequently asked

Do I need to connect anything before I create a smart link?

No. You can create and publish a smart link without connecting Meta. Connecting the Meta pixel and Conversions API is what turns click-outs into tracked conversions for your paid ads, and you can add that later.

Is a smart link the same as a link-in-bio page?

They overlap. A link-in-bio is a generic list of destinations. A VLVTN smart link is built around one release and tracks the click-out to each streaming service, which is the part that matters for ads.

Does a tracked click mean someone streamed my song?

No. A conversion is the click-out from your smart link to a streaming service. It is not a guaranteed play or save. The click happened; what happens next on the DSP depends on the song.
