My Artwork or Links Are Not Showing
How artwork is stored
When you upload artwork, VLVTN generates three sizes, small, medium, and large, and serves whichever one fits the spot on the page. If a size did not generate cleanly, the image can fail to appear. Re-uploading the artwork regenerates all three sizes.
A smart link connected to a Velveteen release also keeps its own stored title and artwork. If the live Velveteen lookup fails, the link falls back to that stored copy, so a connected link should still render even when Velveteen is unreachable.
What to check
- Re-upload the artworkOpen the editor, go to the Design tab, and upload the artwork again. This regenerates the small, medium, and large sizes.
- Reconnect the Velveteen releaseIf the link is connected to a Velveteen release, reconnect it so the stored title and artwork refresh from the release.
- Reload the public pageOpen your vlvtn.link address and confirm the artwork now appears.
Frequently asked
How is my artwork stored?
When you upload artwork, VLVTN generates three sizes, small, medium, and large, and serves whichever size fits the spot on the page. If those sizes did not generate cleanly, re-uploading regenerates them.
My link is connected to a Velveteen release. Why is its artwork still showing?
A smart link connected to a Velveteen release keeps its own stored title and artwork. If the live Velveteen lookup fails, the link falls back to that stored copy, so the page still renders rather than showing nothing.
How do I fix artwork that is missing or wrong?
Open the editor, go to the Design tab, and re-upload the artwork. That regenerates the three stored sizes. If the link is connected to a Velveteen release, reconnect the release so its details refresh.
Why does my page show an old title or cover?
That is the stored fallback for a connected release. When the live lookup is unreachable, the link uses the title and artwork it saved last. Reconnect the release to refresh those stored values.
