Questions

What counts as a conversion here?

A tracked click-out from your landing page to a streaming service. It is not a guaranteed stream, save, or follow. What happens on Spotify after the click depends on the song.

Where do these benchmarks come from?

They are practitioner ranges from media buyers who run music campaigns at volume, for tier 1 and tier 2 countries. Meta and Spotify do not publish official cost-per-conversion numbers, so treat these as a real-world read, not a guarantee.

What about tier 3 countries?

Tier 3 traffic is usually cheaper per conversion but those listeners tend to be worth less per stream. This grader uses tier 1 and tier 2 benchmarks, so read a cheap tier 3 result with that context.

Why is my cost per conversion high?

Most often the creative, the audience, or a misconfigured conversion event. A common trap is optimizing for a page-view event instead of the click-out, which makes Meta chase the wrong action.
