Import a Velveteen Release into a Smart Link

The short answer
Open a Release smart link in the editor, go to the Content tab, and use the Import from Velveteen section. Select Browse, search with Search releases…, and pick a release. It imports the title, artist name, and release date. Importing releases requires Pro.

Import a release into a Release link

  1. Open the Content tab
    In the smart link editor for a Release link, open the Content tab. The Import from Velveteen section appears there.
  2. Select Browse
    In the Import from Velveteen section, select Browse to open the release search.
  3. Search and pick a release
    Use the search with the placeholder Search releases… and choose the release you want.
  4. Check what imported
    Picking a release imports its title, artist name, and release date. When connected, the section shows Connected to Velveteen with a thumbnail and a Disconnect action.
Note
Importing releases requires Pro, and the Import from Velveteen section only appears on the Release link type.
